Rhia and Peters Wedding

Rhia and Peter held their reception at St Donats Arts Centre, a favourite of ours to photograph. Although the weather could have been better we were able to get outside and for some shots. It was a pleasure to work with Andy of SLR Creations, whose style of videography compliments our style of photography really well.
As for Rhia and Peter... Both lovely... And their folks are great too..Easy going and friendly...
Photographing Peters preps was quite busy, First off at his mums, then to the flower shop to get his fixed, and then to the pub to meet up with guests and then on to the church... Nerves had already set in at his mum and dads- Could'nt eat anything... Think the mornings activities kept his mind off things. Gail reported that Rhia was fine all morning and simply looked radiant throughout the day- It shows in the shots...

Jane and Chris's Pre- Shoot

Another nice couple to work with, and on a really nice evening. After a hard slog on the computer it was nice to get out and enjoy a nice glass of wine down the bay and take some shots of Jane and Chris. Janes nervousness was soon abated and I am sure she found the whole experience valuable- Chris on the other hand- was pretty confident in front of the lens from the start- Well lets just wait and see what he is like in the front of the aisle!

Leanne and Gareth

Here are two shoots in one as we are really busy at the moment...
Leanne and Gareth's pre- shoot 'down the bay' and their wedding at Coity Church, Bridgend. The Vicar was great- she did not allow shots from the front of the church during the ceremony but understood enough about professional digital cameras to know that they are silent and did not require flashguns, so we were allowed to create some shots from the back.
Anyway back to Lee's and Gar's day....  his best man was a little nervous about the speech, the 'boys' picked up on this and helped him 'chill out' by buying 1 or 3 drinks for him.... I have seen this scenario soooo many times before [and always do my best to stop it], it usually ends in disaster with a terrible best mans speech and bride, groom and guests let down.. BUT ... IT WAS GREAT !!! Ben went down a storm!!!... A very lucky man [who also knew how to milk it, and did so for the rest of the evening!!!].Deal a party were booked for the evening and as always provided good fun casino tables for the guests.
